Coffee Storage

There are a few things to consider when storing coffee...

- Light

Light can degrade coffee. So its important to store your beans or grounds in a light proof, opaque container.

- Oxygen

Oxygen in the air will oxidise the coffee, so ensure your coffee container is airtight.

- Temperature

Coffee is best kept cool, but we don't recommend keeping in it in the fridge, room temperature is fine. We say this because if kept in the fridge, every time the coffee is taken out and opened up, a little condense can form on the coffee. This can add up and cause the coffee to degrade, especially if the coffee is used over several days.

- Moisture

Relatively low and stable moisture levels are ideal. If the coffee is stored at room temperature and in an airtight container, this should be suitable.
