Our flagship espresso hits the spot. Big chocolatey aromas with a creamy, nutty body. Finishing with a classic cassis ending. Wonderful as an espresso, but with enough lift to stand up and be noticed when used in milky drinks.

Our espresso blend evolves season to season. Our current edition combines a fully washed Kenyan from the Ichamama Mill, balanced with the excellent Dulima Columbian from Huila in the mountainous South West.

The Producers:

Ichamama mill is part of Othaya Farmers’ Cooperative Society Limited, one of a few washing stations or “factories” that form the coop group based in the heartland of Kukuyu territory. At 1,981m above sea level it is the highest grown and processed coffee in the society & amongst the highest in the whole region. The cooperative processes coffee cherries sourced from almost 800 farmers.

The Columbian Dulima is grown by a select group of smallholders, using a washed process. The crops are carefully select lots, put through a rigorous sensory analysis at origin to guarantee profile consistency and quality from lot to lot.
